Training That Your Team Uses on Monday

Most developer training is too theoretical. Engineers sit through hours of slides and leave with a certificate but not much they can actually apply. I run workshops that are built around hands-on work — writing real code, solving real problems, and leaving with something you built during the session.

Topics I Cover

Next.js — from routing and rendering strategies to deployment and performance optimisation. React Native — building cross-platform mobile apps, handling native modules, and publishing to both app stores. Node.js — building reliable backend APIs, working with databases, and structuring applications for growth. AI integration — using OpenAI and Claude APIs to add intelligent features to existing products, including tool calling, RAG, and agent patterns.

Format

Workshops run as full-day or half-day sessions, either remote or on-site. Each session is a mix of short explanations and longer hands-on exercises. I adjust the pace and depth based on your team's current level — I don't pitch the training at a level that leaves people lost or bored.

Custom Curriculum

I tailor the content to what your team actually needs. If your team is comfortable with React basics but struggling with performance and testing, I focus there. If you're about to start a mobile project and need everyone up to speed on React Native quickly, I build around that.

Follow-Up

After the workshop, your team has access to me for questions for 30 days. When you run into something the training covered, you can ask about it in context rather than trying to remember what was said six weeks ago.

Frequently asked

Engineering teams adopting something new — Next.js, React Native, or AI integration — and teams who have adopted it and want to know whether they are using it well.

Yes. Participants build something real during the session. Lecture-only training is largely forgotten within a fortnight.

That is the version that works best. Using your actual code and problems makes the material immediately applicable rather than theoretical.

Both. Remote works well for focused sessions of two to three hours; in person is better for full-day or multi-day formats.
