Architecture Design

Whether you're starting from scratch or reviewing an existing setup, I design cloud architecture with availability, performance, security, and cost in mind. This includes decisions about services, regions, data storage, caching layers, and how traffic flows through the system.

Infrastructure as Code

I use Terraform to define infrastructure as code. This means your setup is version-controlled, reproducible, and auditable. Spinning up a new environment takes minutes, not hours, and there are no undocumented changes hiding in production.

Cost Optimisation

If you're already on the cloud and your bill has grown uncomfortably large, I do infrastructure audits that typically find significant savings — rightsized instances, unused resources, more efficient data transfer patterns, and reserved capacity for predictable workloads.

Migrations

Moving an existing application to the cloud, or from one cloud provider to another, requires careful planning to avoid downtime and data loss. I plan and execute migrations in stages with rollback options at every step.
